Texas Electric has been serving Central Texas since 1964 when our father, Walter Mueller, founded the company.  We offer a wide range of electrical services including service, maintenance, new residence wiring and remodeling.   We also offer Lutron Lighting Control and Shading Solutions to meet any level of need.  The RadioRA2 and Homeworks QS systems can be adapted to any size project you may have.  Both systems offer features designed to save energy and give your clients excellent control of their lighting.  Lutron wall controls, wallplates and receptacles are available in a variety of colors and metal finishes used to accessorize your space and express your style.  We are currently the only Lutron Platinum Level Certified Contractor in central Texas.  We will be glad to demonstrate these shades and dimmers for you and your clients.

We are certified in the City of Austin, GVEC and City of San Antonio (CPS) service areas to design and install solar PV systems that meet all rebate standards.  These systems are a great product to offer on any residence due to energy savings availability and a growing concern for green living.

Texas Electric welcomes any challenge when it comes to custom homes.  We have been working with custom builders in this area for many years and offer design assistance from lighting fixtures to controls that can set your home apart from the average residence.  Our experience in home automation allows us to work with your other contractors to coordinate any needs your clients have.  Assisting our builders to make their projects stand out above the competition is our primary goal.
